The next stop on our journey is Australia. We begin with constructing political and physical maps of Australia. Next, we complete a Read/Respond to cover all domains for Australia: Georgraphy, Climate, Location, Population Distribution, History, Goverenment, and Economy. We culminate with a Scrapbook of Australia to present all of the information learned. ***Please bring in items to decorate your scrapbooks!
**This is a short unit (approximately 2 weeks), so it is imperative that all students use their time WISELY and keep up with all assignments**
1/6 Monday: I can construct a political and physical map of Australia.
Political: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth
Physical: Uluru/Ayers Rock, Great Dividing Range, Great Victoria Desert, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Great Barrier Reef, Coral Sea
